The weight loss program can be utilized even if  you do not wish to use GLP-1 medications.  To be eligible for the program, participants must meet the following criteria.

• Be enrolled in the Cigna/CVS Caremark plan through EGI

• Be 18 years of age or older (members and dependents)

• Meet clinical guidelines based on BMI

Participating in the program is required for coverage of the medication. Some diagnosis may not be required but are voluntary. A Prior authorization is required for the medication and you will receive information from CVS direct on how to enroll in the weight management program. More information will be forthcoming from EGI. The program is not available until January 1, 2026
