About State of Wyoming Leasing
A&I is responsible for coordinating the leasing of property for State of Wyoming agencies and the ongoing facilitation of all associated responsibilities that pertain to lease contracts.
Please note that the contract is legally binding between the Lessor and the Lessee (A&I). To better serve the Sate of Wyoming agencies, if a contract is subsequently not being adhered to or there are other concerns , please communicate with the Leasing Program at the contact information above. Our team be happy to help resolve any issues that need to be addressed.
W.S. 9-2-3204 (xix) of the Wyoming statutes cover leasing, in addition to rules of the Wyoming State Building Commission. Leasing of new property or office space by the state shall be conducted on a bid and proposal basis, with advertising of space needs and square footage in community or local newspapers. Leasing contracts may be entered into by noncompetitive negotiation only if:
(A) The General Services Administrator determines in writing that competitive bidding is not feasible; or
(B) The lessor is a governmental agency.
