To help protect the public and the employees in response to COVID-19, the Procurement Office will remain open but will have a minimal number of staff in the office during the office hours listed above. The majority of our staff will be working from home for the foreseeable future. Virtual meetings may be conducted rather than in-person meetings. We will make every effort to be available and to perform our duties to the best of our ability. You are encouraged to reach out to your regular contact/s, or use the Staff Contact Information link on this website to reach out to another staff member. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Should a vendor wish to attend a public bid opening, please coordinate with the buyer listed on the solicitation.
Through approved legislation, all construction-related purchases will be handled by the State Construction Department as of October 1, 2020. Please contact the State Construction Department with any questions (307) 777-3558.
The Purchasing Section oversees the acquisition of quality goods and services for state agencies, with the primary objective of maximizing the value of public funds. This process is conducted in a manner that ensures open competition and provides equal opportunities for vendors.
Online Bid System
A&I’s Procurement Section has a partnership with Public Purchase, a web based eProcurement service. This eProcurement system provides registered vendors with automatic notification of A&I Procurement bids for vendor selected commodities and services based on classification codes. Procurement does not guarantee electronic notification of bids. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the site, and downloading any bids of interest.
Bids may be obtained by registering with Public Purchase. All vendors must complete the registration process.
Inquiries regarding obtaining a residency certification number should be directed to the Department of Workforce Services, Labor Standards Office at (307) 777-7261.
The A&I Purchasing Section operates within guidelines defined by several important Wyoming legislative statutes. To learn more about all Wyoming Government statutes, please visit the State Legislature website and make use of their powerful search tool.
