A&I Human Resources Division Completes Statewide Management Review

In the first report of an ongoing organizational study of state government efficiency, a Span of Control Review was presented to the Wyoming Legislature’s Government Efficiency Commission at it’s October, 2018 meeting in Cheyenne. Other parts of the study are expected to include a study of “Shared Services” opportunities for administrative functions such as accounting, HR, strategic sourcing, and other areas. A “Line of Service” review is also expected to consider efficiencies in front line service delivery.

Efficiency studies in the Executive Branch of government are being overseen by Wyoming agency directors with the technical assistance provided by Alvarez and Marsal, a global consulting group specializing in management and performance.
