About Consultative Services
Consultative Services is a department under Human Resources Division that provides support to both internal and external customers. Core processes and functions within the department include classification, compensation, selection and recruitment, rules, payroll and statistical reporting, and performance management.
Each position requires a description of the job to measure the relative value of the job. We use the Hay Method of Job Evaluation, which is the most widely used job evaluation system in the world.
The compensation program and its component plans shall reinforce a productive work climate, a culture of accountability and encourage employees to achieve their career potential with the State.
