Change Management Workshop

August 29, 8:30-4:30 @ State Library, Cheyenne, WY

The one thing that never changes is that things are always changing! This change management workshop is a great opportunity for you and your team to get on the same page and make a plan for moving onward and upward when faced with change.

Core Competencies: Leadership and Personal Effectiveness

Managing Tough Conversations

September 19, 1:30-4:30 @ State Library, Cheyenne, WY

Join A&I's growing cadre of "Communication Heroes," by attending this training on how to manage the conversation when someone else blows up or shuts down. This is a great opportunity to not only develop your ability to stay calm in the face of conflict, but also to join a community of employees who are committed to rescuing the conversation when communication has broken down.

Core Competencies: Leadership and Communication

Effective Listening

October 3, 10-11 @ Emerson Building, Cheyenne, WY

The best communicators take the time to effectively listen to others and make sure others feel heard. Are you listening to others or are you just hearing them? Join us at this training to brush up on your effective listening skills and leave with a goal to change at least one poor listening habit (because we all have at least one!).

Core Competencies: Leadership, Developing Others, and Communication

Emotional Intelligence at Work

October 24, 8:30-4:30 @ State Library, Cheyenne, WY

Research shows that emotional intelligence is more important to performance than ability and technical skill combined. But is emotional intelligence a skill that can be developed? Absolutely! Attend this training to explore the four-domain model of emotional intelligence and how increasing your emotional intelligence can help you increase your ability to relate to, collaborate with, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others, as well as build teams and manage conflict.

Core Competencies: ALL of them!

Join us for a book study in September!

What We're Reading: Mojo: How to Get It, How to Keep It, How to Get It Back If You Lose It, by Marshall Goldsmith (Hachette Books, 2010)

Core Competencies: Developing Others and Personal Effectiveness

When and Where: We will meet from 3-4:30 each Tuesday in September, in Emerson 126 (9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25). Can't make it to all of these sessions? Join the book study anyway and come when you can!
