The Human Resources Division of A&I (eLearning Services) has developed and purchased training courses for State employees to improve skills and knowledge. Most courses are located at WyoTraining.wyo.gov (log in required).  Check the site frequently because new offerings are added often. State agency trainers also contribute agency-specific courses to the appropriate categories.  

We also make available YouTube courses that are open to all.  These are noted by "(video)" and can be accessed by clicking on the link.

This is why the Governor's Office, Wyoming Department of Health, and the Wyoming Department of Administration & Information are partnering to provide a valuable resource to all state employees.

FREE FINANCIAL LITERACY WEBINARS

The State has partnered with SOFA, the Society for Financial Awareness, to bring monthly FREE webinars on a broad range of financial topics. We have received excellent feedback on the webinars and the presenter, Matt Gill. The webinars are conveniently held over the lunch hour so you can sit back, enjoy your lunch, and get some financial knowledge.

LINKEDIN LEARNING FOR ALL OF WYOMING

Anyone with a Wyoming library card now has access to LinkedIn Learning. 

LinkedIn Learning, formerly known as Lynda.com, is an online learning platform with on-demand, video-based content. The platform offers more than 16,000 courses, 9,000 of which are in English. Each is broken down into multiple short videos with specific learning goals.

These trainings are professionally produced, and are top-notch sources of information and learning. 

In order to access LinkedIn Learning you must have a Wyoming library card. You will have to input your card number and the PIN WYLD.

STATE EMPLOYEE COURSES

The links below provide access to courses that are available to all State employees.  If employees are not logged on to their State email account they will be asked to login prior to accessing the course. Each agency now has their own enrollment key to access all courses. Click here to access your agency enrollment key.

STATE MANAGER, SUPERVISOR OR AGENCY SPECIFIC COURSES

Some courses are only available to certain groups such as managers and supervisors or specific State agencies.  These are NOT necessarily open to everyone.  Employees must talk to their HR representative to gain access to those courses.  Courses noted as "(video)" are available to anyone with access to YouTube.

These courses are provided by Risk Management. Each training course is based on a foundation of industry knowledge and practical field experience, and developed with a best-practices perspective. There are well over 100 courses in this catalog. You can click on "preview" next to any course to get a short preview of how the course looks, works and feels. You must talk to your HR representative to get access. These courses are for State of Wyoming employees only.

FEMA's EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE

The FEMA Emergency Management Institute provides a long list of free online courses that anyone can take. You can scroll through the pages or do a keyword search on the below page. They also have a limited number of these courses in Spanish.
